In 2023, amidst the highly anticipated and widely discussed films, ‘Jawan’ is currently generating a lot of buzz. The film’s trailer has been the talk of social media for the past few days. Presently, Shah Rukh’s various looks, action sequences, and a powerful star cast have finally hit the theaters. Shah Rukh and director Atlee seem to have meticulously structured the film’s narrative.

Shah Rukh’s killer look, explosive action, and emotional elements in ‘Jawan’ have received praise from the audience. The film’s story is not based on a single theme; it offers viewers a variety of engaging stories. It’s not just a movie for one viewer; as a citizen of this country, you will surely connect with the story. ‘Jawan’ presents a multitude of stories that you won’t find in any single film, and this diversity in storytelling will captivate the audience.

The film begins with a train hijacking incident. The ‘Jawan’ (played by Shah Rukh in a bald look) demands a hefty ransom from the government in exchange for the release of 376 passengers on the hijacked train, including farmers. He asks for an amount that is impossible to arrange in just 15 minutes. However, there is a twist; there is a girl on the hijacked metro train who happens to be the daughter of a wealthy businessman (played by Vijay Sethupathi). Local people create chaos, and these young individuals take action. Does the ‘Jawan’ turn into a messiah? You will find out when you watch the movie.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh plays a dual role as Vikram Rathod. Shah Rukh portrays corruption in the country, the derogatory treatment of farmers by politicians, their plight, and the state of healthcare in India.

Deepika and Nayantara have done an excellent job as the leading actresses in the film. Shah Rukh’s team of six individuals makes a significant impact on the screen. Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani also make their presence felt in the film. Atlee’s direction is top-notch, and the first half of the film is quite engaging.

In the second half, Shah Rukh along with all the actors steal the audience’s hearts. The dialogues and direction have captured the audience’s attention. Dialogues involving fathers and sons, some memorable finger-pointing dialogues, and moments of eye-catching dialogue delivery make the film memorable.

Shah Rukh delivers politically significant dialogues in a straightforward manner early in the film. The film, however, feels a bit long due to various issues. Mentioning the overdose of songs is essential. The songs have hindered the audience’s immersion. However, the action in King Khan’s film makes this movie a strong contender, and there is no doubt that it will outperform ‘Pathan.’
